Calling all board game and puzzle fanatics! Looking for some cozy family fun during the Holidays? Swap your games and puzzles with friends and neighbors and spread the love of board gaming and puzzling.

Create and build your own LEGO design that we'll display in the library! Sign up child, not parent for each program.

All ages, kids 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Stop by and create! We will have various craft supplies and inspiration for you to make an art project, craft, structure, or simple machine - whatever you can imagine!

Ages 0-6 with an adult. Stimulate your child's senses through books, rhymes, music, and movement. No registration required.  

Grades 4-12. Come to this program and create your very own Dungeons and Dragons character! Be prepared to do some creative thinking, reading, and math using copies of our players handbooks.

Grades 3-12. Intro to the LEGO SPIKE Prime robot’s hardware and software. You will also learn how to program the robots to move straight and turn. This class is the prerequisite for the Robotics Workshops.

Ren the Reindeer is stranded on the Southern Island after missing his ride home to the North Pole. Can you build a boat or raft using common materials to rescue Ren the Reindeer and bring him home? Grades 3-5

Grades 6-12

Join this fun service club to help with library volunteer projects. Participants will get volunteer hours for every meeting they attend.

Get ready to wow your holiday guests with luscious, creamy cheesecake! In this class, Chef Kristyn Slick will show you the secrets to a perfectly smooth base, how to avoid cracks, and how to create both classic and fun flavor twists! 

Join us as we celebrate winter with paper “gingerbread” mobiles! This program is for ages 3-6 only with an adult caregiver. Please register with your child's name only. Register up to two children per family.

Welcome friends to this trivia competition!  Compete in teams of up to 4 people by correctly answering questions and we'll see which team has the most cheer.  Bonus points for coming dressed as your favorite winter sport or cold weather

The Cary Area Writers Group meets on the second Saturday of each month.  We welcome any and all authors ages 21+ who have an interest in writing.  Bring a copy of what you wrote, or 4-5 copies to pass around.

Grades 9-12

Make friends and discover new screen-free games. On the first and third Mondays of the month.  Third Mondays are geared to grades 4-5. Join us for an evening of fun and learning! 

Come and play Magic the Gathering at the library! Are you an experienced MTG player? Great! Never played before? That's great too, we'll teach you! 

Grades 6-12

Create art using real buttons as the primary material. Buttons vary in size, shape, and color and are glued onto a canvas to form images or patterns.
