We will discuss the novel Bear by Julia Phillips. Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Copies of the book can be checked out at the Service Center a month prior to the discussion.

Book Buddies is a great way to introduce newly independent readers to fun book series. Read the first book, and then read them all!

Grades 6-12 

Play video games and board games with other teens! The library has a selection of Nintendo Switch and Wii U games that will be projected on the big screen. Registration preferred, walk-ins welcome.

In this one-hour training, individuals will learn an evidence-based public health model for how to recognize when someone may be contemplating suicide. Presented by NAMI McHenry County.
