Crafters!  Empty your closets and craft rooms to get rid of the clutter.  Donate clean, usable and good quality supplies from your projects:  fabric, sewing/embroidery thread and notions, beads, felting items, rubber stamps, scrapbo

Ages 0-6 with an adult. Stimulate your child's senses through books, rhymes, music, and movement. No registration required.

Grades 3-12 Build one of the LEGO EV3 robot designs and then download the program to activate it. Adults not required, but this is a great chance for you to share a STEM activity with your child. 

Make friends and discover new screen-free games. On the first and third Mondays of the month.  Third Mondays are geared to grades 4-5. Join us for an evening of fun and learning! 

6:30-7pm - Resource Tables: Pick up information and speak with representatives from Lake County Health Department, McHenry County Health Department, and GPF Foundation.

Talk shop about books with others in their 20’s and 30’s. Each meeting we discuss a title chosen by the group. If you’re interested in joining or to find out the current title, please email Jessica at jking@caryarealibrary.info.

Learn basic macrame knots and apply the knotting techniques to create a stylish keychain. Great for any skill level including beginners. Registration required.

Join us for a book discussion centered on true crime and its impact on society. Copies of the book will be available to check out from the Service Center 60 days before the event.
