Ages 0-6 with an adult.  Stimulate your child's senses through books, rhymes, music and movement. Little ones get distracted easily, please help us maintain engagement by entering quietly if you arrive late. No registration required.

Come and test your puzzle prowess in this first ever Cary Area Public Library jigsaw puzzle competition! Registrants will compete to see which teams of up to four can complete a 500 piece puzzle the fastest.

This is a daytime club ideal for kids in grades 1-5 and perfect for homeschoolers and homeschooling families. Each month we’ll do a different activity - from arts and crafts, to STEM, and learning about the library!

Grades 6-12. 

Watch movies and anime with other teens! The library has a selection of movies and anime that will be projected on the big screen. Registration preferred, walk-ins welcome. Snacks will be available.

Our native oaks are a “keystone” species that many other species rely on. How do they connect with other woodland plants, and what can you do to help our native oak trees?

Exchange ideas about the foreign policy issues facing America today in this monthly discussion led by Professor Gary Midkiff. Participants must purchase a briefing book and read a chapter prior to each meeting.

All ages, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Join us after hours for a Blast From the Past family movie night! We will be watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) and enjoying nostalgic candy.
