For children birth to age 6 with an adult.
Stimulate your child’s senses through books, rhymes, music and movement.

Keep your hands and fingers toasty warm this winter with these easy-to-make, no-sew hand warmers.

On the second Friday of each month, get a themed goodie bag filled with a surprise book to check out, an activity, and bonus items. At the end of the month, keep the activity and return the book!

Ages 3-10 with caregiver (and siblings 3 and up). 30-45min. This storytime program is intended for children on the spectrum, or children who find traditional story time programs challenging.

Drop-in. For children birth-18 months with an adult. Stories and songs for your littlest one. Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on. No older siblings, please. No registration required.

The Cary Area Writers Group meets on the second Saturday of each month. We welcome any and all authors age 21+ who have an interest in writing.. Bring a copy of what you wrote or 4-5 copies to pass around.

Create and build your own LEGO design, and we will put your creation on display in the library.

Grades 3-5. Build 2 kinds of catapults! Fire items to test which catapult is the most accurate and efficient!

Ages 9-adult. Improve your programming skills with the LEGO Mindstorms modules and apply them to various challenges. You must have attended the Robotics Basics class to attend these workshops. A Build-A-Robot session does not qualify.

Grades 6-12. Join this fun service club to help with library volunteer projects. Participants will get volunteer hours for every meeting they attend.
