For kids grade K-3. Let your feelings out with our @Home art therapy kits! Included in the kit is everything you need to connect with your inner artist and inner emotions.   

Join the Cary Library and Cary School District 26 for a night all about literacy! Learn the ways that reading together as a family can set kids up for success and discover library resources that can help in your literacy journey.

This is a daytime club ideal for kids in grades 1-5 and perfect for homeschoolers and homeschooling families. Each month we’ll do a different activity - from arts and crafts, to STEM, and learning about the library!

Come and play Magic the Gathering at the library! Are you an experienced MTG player? Great! Never played before? That's great too, we'll teach you! 

Grades 3-12 Build one of the LEGO EV3 robot designs and then download the program to activate it. Adults not required, but this is a great chance for you to share a STEM activity with your child.

Look! Up in the sky! It’s a dog! It’s a cat? Wait, is that a bearded dragon?! And why are they all wearing capes?! Oh, they’re Power Pets!! From their Super Shelter headquarters they fight for truth, kibble, and belly rubs!

These bunnies and tea cups are super cute! As with previous kits, these are also just about zero waste. This program is for grades 4-5 only. Please register one per family, thank you.

Grades 3-12. Intro to the LEGO SPIKE Prime robot’s hardware and software. You will also learn how to program the robots to move straight and turn. This class is the prerequisite for the Robotics Workshops.

Have fun learning how and why we sift ingredients!  A sifter and 2 new recipe cards are included!  Kit pickup begins at 10:00 am.

Grades 4-5. Come join in on this popular fantasy role-playing game, no experience necessary! In this two hour session players will get the feel for the game, as well as learn the basic rules.

We'll make a collage to celebrate our Earth! This program is for grades K-1 only. Please register up to two children per family, thank you.

Grades 1-5. While small, they are mighty! Insects, arachnids, crustaceans, and other arthropods are amazing in a million ways. The Burpee Museum will show you why, while you see real specimens and handle live insects!

Grades 3-5. Join us for a fun evening where you can talk about your favorite graphic novels, discover new ones, meet friends, and have snacks…what could be better?!

In the Midwest, our March lion stays 'til April! We'll make lion faces to celebrate the coming of spring! This program is for grades 2-3 only. Please register up to two per family, thank you.
