Program Description

Event Details

The decline of the Monarch Butterfly became apparent in the late 1990's and early 2000's.  Come learn about this amazing migrater who travels over 1,000 miles yearly to overwinter in Mexico.  What is the environmental "butterfly effect" that has caused over 90% of the Monarch population to disappear.  Education and appreciation for the wonder and fragility of nature are key to helping reverse the damage done to these insects, and all other living things affected by environmental adversity.
