Nellie Bly: Around the World in 72 Days

Join us as we learn about the fascinating life of Nelly Bly.  A pioneer investigative journalist, Bly first gained notoriety for her exposé of the New York City Lunatic Asylum on Blackwell's Island. Presented by Debra Ann Miller, we'll join Nellie at the US Embassy in Paris in February of 1919.  The Great War has just ended; Nellie will recount her adventures as a reporter, war correspondent, and world traveler, as she awaits permission to return to the United States.
