The League of Women Voters of the Palatine, Schaumburg, and Barrington areas, in cooperation with over 30 area libraries, and hosted by the Schaumburg Township Library District, are proud to present the first in the 2026 Civic Awareness Series, a program dedicated to civic education.  We are thrilled to welcome WGN-TV’s Paul Lisnek to start our series off strong.  Lisnek will speak about Illinois Politics, as well as help prepare participants for the upcoming Midterm elections in November.  Patrons are invited to attend in person at the Schaumburg Township Library, or from the comfort of their home.
