The Cary Area Public Library, as part of a collaboration of McHenry County public libraries, is pleased to host Abbott Kahler on Thursday, November 14th at 7pm at the Luecht Auditorium at McHenry County College. Kahler (formerly writing as Karen Abbott) is the author of 6 books, her most recent title being Eden Undone: A True Story of Sex, Murder, and Utopia at the Dawn of World War II. Copies of her titles will be available for purchase and signing at the event thanks to Read Between the Lynes bookstore of Woodstock. Registration is required for this free author event, and your Cary Area Library card is required in order to register. 

This author event is part of the McHenry County Libraries - Let's All Read Together community reading program. County residents are encouraged to come together in a shared reading experience. Copies of the books are available to borrow from your local library. Libraries will host discussions of the books, in advance of the author event.
