Cozy Classic Film Night: The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone

Join us as we watch the classic film, The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone, starring Vivien Leigh and Warren Beatty and based on Tennessee Williams’ first novel of the same name.  The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone tells the story of a middle-aged American-stage star, whose wealth can’t compensate for her fading beauty.  Having been recently widowed, Mrs. Stone finds herself living in Rome, drifting aimlessly until she drifts into an affair with a young cad, the gigolo Paolo. As their infatuations deepen, the question remains, how far will we go to not only deceive others - but ourselves? 

A short discussion on the film will follow the viewing.  Light refreshments will be served.
