Event Details
Learn the pieces, how they move and how to set up the board. Once you learn a few key rules, you are ready to play! There are only 6 different pieces in the whole game. Basics of who goes first, how to protect your King and how to end the game will be covered. Checkmate might become your new favorite word! A list of books, websites and historic games will be offered. An easy guide for how to write out a chess game’s moves will also be available.
