In preparation for the author's visit to our area next month, join us for a discussion of Nick Medina's gripping debut, Sisters of the Lost Nation.

A young Native girl's hunt for answers about the women mysteriously disappearing from her tribe's reservation leads her to delve into the myths and stories of her people, all while being haunted herself, in this atmospheric and stunningly poignant debut.

Copies of the book will be made available to registrants at participating libraries. Please register with a valid library card number, and email address to receive a link to join via Zoom. We look forward to welcoming patrons from area libraries to this event!

This program is brought to you in partnership with the Cary, Crystal Lake, and Huntley Area Public Libraries.
Note: Sisters of the Lost Nation has the distinction of being selected as an official Library Reads Pick and voted on by librarians across the country as one of the top ten books coming out in April of 2023.
