Grades 6-12

Learn basic macrame knots and apply the knotting techniques to create a stylish keychain. Great for any skill level including beginners. Registration required. 

All ages, kids 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Stop by and create! We will have various craft supplies and inspiration for you to make an art project, craft, structure, or simple machine - whatever you can imagine!

Children must be school age or older. 

Level up your reading and drop in anytime between 6:00pm and 8:00pm to create a personalized bookmark. 

Enjoy hands-on experience making an organic-based soap with an embedded gemstone and fragranced with essential oils during this intermediate and eco-friendly soap-making workshop with Soapy Roads of Lombard.

Design and create your favorite pixelated video game characters using perler beads. 

With a little tissue and construction paper, we'll make some bright and beautiful poppies for the window! You can register up to two children ages 3-6, thank you.

Plants are all around us and always available in many forms, so they make an excellent subject for drawing!  In this workshop, caregivers and teens will learn the skills to draw plant forms with accurate proportions.
